DuraOptics Safety Beams are used to prevent the accidental closure of the gate on a vehicle or person. It is recommended that beams are used for safety reasons at all times and in particular if the gate is set on Auto Close.
DuraOptics are best suited up to 20m and thus are ideal for safety in gate automation. While some people may use them as Perimeter Intruder Beams it is not their intended use.
